under the Forest Stewardship Council and The
Malaysian Criteria and Indicators Timber certification
has become a market-led tool to encourage
sustainable forest management. The Group is making
every effort in seeking timber certification of
sustainable Forest Management and it will co-operate
with all relevant parties and organisations to
develop mechanisms for enhancing the management of
forest world-wide.
